The Wooden Gearbox is a gearbox added by Better With Mods. It is used to transfer Mechanical Power with the help of Axles to power other machines from the mod. The Gearbox will stop transferring Mechanical Power when it is provided with a Redstone signal. The Gearbox can be rotated by shift right-clicking it with an empty hand. If a Thunderstorm occurs, the Gearbox closest to the source of Power will become a Broken Wooden Gearbox unless it is turned off by a redstone signal. Broken Wooden Gearboxes cannot be used to transfer power but can be crafted back into Wooden Gearboxes in a Crafting Table.

Here is an example of a Mechanical Power Setup:
The Windmill is turning, feeding power into an Axle which then transfers through Gearboxes and so on.
