The Wooden Axle is an axle added by Better With Mods. It is used to transfer continuous Mechanical Power (Can not transfer power from Hand Cranks) with the help of Gearboxes to power other machines from the mod. Wooden Axles must hook up to Powered Gearboxes to start turning and transferring power. These axles can only handle up to 3 blocks in a row before breaking under the stress. After every 3 axles there must be a Gearbox which will allow more axles to be hooked up to it from other sides and repeat.
Windmills and Water Wheels must be placed on Axles to begin creating Mechanical Power.
The Wooden Axle can be rotated by shift-clicking it.
Recipe[]
Input and Output[]
Mechanical Power (via Axles) must be inserted into this face of a Gearbox (Either Steel or Wooden):
Axles can then retrieve power from any side of the Gearbox except the side which it is receiving power from.
Usage[]
Here is an example of a Mechanical Power Setup:
The Windmill is turning, feeding power into an Axle (In this case, a Wooden Axle meaning only up to 3 blocks in a row) which then transfers through Gearboxes and so on.
