The Water Wheel is a block added by Better With Mods. It is the most advanced way of generating continuous Mechanical Power. It must be provided with a 5x5 area of free space (not including the Water) and must be placed on an axle that is oriented sideways.
To create Mechanical Power, Water must flow under the bottom row of the Water Wheel. Unlike Windmills, it does not get interrupted by Weather or location, the only requirement is the Water. The Water Wheel will turn depending on which way the Water flows.
If a block is placed in the bounds of the Water Wheel it will stop turning.

Above, the Water Wheel is turning and creating continuous power, which feeds into an Axle which then transfers through Gearboxes and may continue into other devices.
