There are two ways that it can generate power; it can either be placed directly adjacent to water source blocks, or water fluid containers (i.e., buckets, cells) can be placed in its GUI. The amount of power generated by adjacent water stacks, in that each face can add to its net yield of power. The insertion of fluid containers into its slots cannot be automated. Using containers to fuel it will yield 1,000 EU at 2 EU/t per container, while using source blocks will yield 0.010 EU/t per water source block. A manned method of fueling this (containers) will yield a total output of 1,000EU at 2EU/t, and an unmanned method (water source blocks) will yield an output of 0.010EU/t. The maximum amount of energy that can be produced by an unmanned Water Mill is 0.25 EU/t using a 3x3x3 cube of water with the mill in the middle, plus 1 piece of cable to direct the energy.
