Ambox notice.png Hello and welcome to the Official Feed The Beast Wiki! Here we document the realm of modded Minecraft, including Feed The Beast but also other mods and modpacks, as well as community-related information. We thank you for your contributions, and encourage you to read our getting started guide as well as join our Discord or IRC: #FTB-Wikiconnect (both are bridged). Other useful links include the manual of style, the article creation guideline, the crafting grid guide and translation guide (you aren't required to read them all but might find them helpful). Again, welcome! -Xbony2 (talk) 17:00, 22 January 2020 (UTC)

Vanilla mobs

We don't have an established format for translating vanilla pages yet. Honestly the current format of our vanilla pages needs to be reevaluated in general so it might be a while until that happens. Until then I am afraid that I will delete the "translated" vanilla pages that you made. It's okay if there's some red links. -Xbony2 (talk) 18:48, 15 February 2020 (UTC)

Just to add onto that, same with blocks/items. -Xbony2 (talk) 19:11, 15 February 2020 (UTC)
Ok, good to know, thanks... but stupid that I'm only now reading it ... Have fun deleting ;D Qwertxquartx (talk) 19:13, 15 February 2020 (UTC)
all good! ^_^ -Xbony2 (talk) 19:37, 15 February 2020 (UTC)
Just to note, with translated categories, you're quite welcome to create them, but you should make it like Creative-only content/de is a subcategory of Creative-only content. I can go through the categories later and fix them, it's no biggie.
I have a bot that will autogenerate translated categories but it's not up 24/7 and and being worked on currently so yeah... probably better to create them manually for now. -Xbony2 (talk) 05:33, 20 February 2020 (UTC)
Ok, thanks for the information. By the way, is it ok to use in a translation instead of the normal wikilinks (e.g. instead of using {{L|Prismarine|Prismarin}) [[[mcw:de:Prismarin|Prismarin]]]? Qwertxquartx (talk) 13:01, 20 February 2020 (UTC)
sorry for late-ish response. It's preferred to go with the earlier unless a page links directly to the mcw. -Xbony2 (talk) 20:33, 22 February 2020 (UTC)

Review translations

Regarding the "review" part of the translation extension, I would recommend against using it. I thought it was disabled but it must have be re-enabled at some point. There's not a lot of translators so yeah, I would just fix any faulty translations you see but assume most are fine as is. -Xbony2 (talk) 12:41, 31 July 2020 (UTC)
