Item

How do you display the tile "Clay (Item)" like this
(Without "(Item)")? - Astroflux (talk) 08:56, 15 June 2020 (UTC)

Astroflux, we used to do it by using {{Gc|mod=V|title=Clay|Clay (Item)}}, but I think it was tweaked in the Special:TileList for vanilla items a while back. —SirMoogle ( 💬📝) 15:05, 15 June 2020 (UTC)
Hmm, is there a way to change title in oreDict?

Neptunium Pickaxe

How did you test the neptunium pickaxe drops? Did you use the pickaxe in single player? Did you have other mods installed? As far as the code of the mod in concerned, there is nothing special about the neptunium pickaxe besides the underwater speed.Sscards55 (talk)sscards55

I'm an idiot, I set doTileDrops to false - AstroFlux (talk) (contributions) 02:14, 8 May 2021 (UTC)

Saturation Values

Why is food saturation so strange? Isn't it just the values that is in the code? Sscards55 (talk) 09:37, 20 May 2021 (UTC)

It appear that Template:Shanks refers to an older version of the saturation system. - AstroFlux (talk) (contributions) 09:57, 20 May 2021 (UTC)

Rubber (tree) saplings

I noticed you overwrote Rubber Tree Sapling (which had been a disambiguation) when you moved the page for the IC2 saplings. I assume that was intentional? I was originally fine with it, since the 2 items I was trying to disambiguate, despite what I assumed, actually have different names (I still think they might benefit from pointing to one another somehow, though). However, then I noticed you added a page for GregTech's trees to the rubber tree disambiguation, and realized this tree also has a sapling with the same name as the MineFactory Reloaded sapling. Would it be okay to make a disambiguation page (suffixed with "(disambiguation)") that includes all 3 of them?--Twisted Code a.k.a. Macks2010 (Wall) 15:15, 30 December 2021 (UTC)

I created a disambiguation page for Rubber Saplings, and left a note at both this page and Rubber Tree Sapling to differentiate between the two items ({{About}})
- AstroFlux (talk) (contributions) 15:47, 30 December 2021 (UTC)
Yeah that's an improvement at least... Though honestly I think the three saplings are similar enough (exact name aside) they should all be equal members on that disambiguation. For one thing, it would avoid the awkward wording of the {{About}} as currently used. I would also consider moving Rubber Tree Sapling-->Rubber Tree Sapling (IC2) (or possibly back to Rubber Tree Sapling (IndustrialCraft 2)), so it can be disambiguate without visiting the page (e.g. if you start typing a search with "Rubber...").--Twisted Code a.k.a. Macks2010 (Wall) 16:51, 30 December 2021 (UTC)
Wikipedia style! (Also we don't need to move Rubber Tree Sapling because there is no other items with the EXACT same name)
Also it will notify you if someone changes the page before you save ("conflicting edits"). Also I didn't ninja your edit, you are just slow :P
