Mod | Extra Utilities 2 |
Type | Solid block |
The Transfer Pipe is a block added by Extra Utilities 2. It is used to transport items and liquids from Item Transfer Nodes and Fluid Transfer Nodes. By default it will automatically pull from a Transfer Node and send its contents to an adjacent inventory/tank.
Right-clicking one side of a Transfer Pipe with a Wrench will mark it as one-way, indicated by black stripes on the pipe. Transfer Nodes will then only be able to push items/fluids into the pipe from that direction (Retrieval Nodes and the Indexer ignore this). Adjacent Transfer Pipes marked as one-way toward each other will be disconnected. Right-clicking a Transfer Pipe's connection with an inventory/tank with a Wrench will terminate that connection, and right-clicking it again will re-connect it.

Tips and Tricks[]
- Transfer Nodes and Retrieval Nodes will restart their searches at their origin.
- Each of their search operations take about a second per pipe block, so try to keep your pipe network as small as possible.
- If the pipe network has single-item, multiple stack inventories (such as a Better Barrel), consider using a chest or another inventory block as a buffer so that the source inventories won't back up.
