Thorium Cells are a Nuclear Reactor fuel source added by GregTech 5 Unofficial. They come in 3 variants, the normal, single one, the double one and the Quad Thorium Cell. They produce only a fifth of the Energy Units (EU) and heat as their Uranium counterparts, but they last five times as long. This makes them ideal for slow running reactors with low maintenance and a relative low chance of exploding.
Thermal centrifuging Depleted Thorium Cells is the only source for lutetium dust which is needed to produce americium in the Fusion Reactor.
