Thermal Expansion 3 is a tech mod that expands the usage of Redstone Flux (RF) in the player's world. It adds machines that let players process resources, facilitate item, energy, and liquid transportation to distant areas. It was partly an expansion mod to Buildcraft, but has now become independent.
