The Thaumostatic Girdle is a bauble added by Thaumcraft 4. It is worn in the belt slot. It increases the speed of the Thaumostatic Harness and prevents fall damage. It increases fuel consumption slightly[clarify].

This girdle is designed to be used with the Thaumostatic Harness. On its own it has very little lifting power - it has just enough to prevent most fall damage.
When worn with the harness however it greatly increases the speed at which you are able to fly. The only drawback is that the harness will consume slightly more fuel than normal
