The Stone Barrel is a device added by Ex Nihilo Creatio. It functions exactly like the Wooden Barrel except that it can hold lava, allowing for additional transformations.
Recipe
Usage
The Stone Barrel can be operated manually or automatically and will accept item input from the top, liquid inputs from the side, and item/liquid output from the bottom.
Composting
Items like saplings, food, silkworms, and plants can be placed inside of the Stone Barrel. Each organic item adds to the level of compost inside the Stone Barrel at a varying rate, usually taking 10 or less items to fill. When the Stone Barrel has been filled to the top with organic items, it will quickly compost them into a single piece of dirt.
Liquids
The Stone Barrel can hold a variable amount of any liquid up to 1000 mB, or 1 bucket. Common liquids include Lava and Water. When it is raining and the Stone Barrel has nothing above it blocking the rain from hitting it, Water will quickly start to fill the Wooden Barrel.
Lava can also be placed inside of a Stone Barrel.
