The Steam Dynamo is a block added by Thermal Expansion 4. It is used to generate Redstone Flux (RF).

Usage

There are two methods for the Steam Dynamo to produce power. The first involves putting a solid fuel such as Charcoal into the dynamo, along with Water and this will produce Steam inside the dynamo. This Steam is then used to create 80 RF/t (without upgrades in the dynamo). The Steam Dynamo will only produce RF if there is more then 2 buckets of steam in the internal tank at 2 RF per mB.

The second method involves piping steam directly into the dynamo. Steam can be generated through a number of methods, such as a Steam Boiler from Railcraft.

To change the orientation of the dynamo, use a Crescent Hammer.
