The Splitting Conveyor Upgrade is a Conveyor Belt upgrade added by Industrial Foregoing. It is use to divide items and entities in different directions. Right clicking a Conveyor Belt will apply the upgrade to the opposite side of the belt from where the player is standing. Right clicking the placed upgrade will open a GUI, allowing for the splitting ratio to be adjusted. The splitting ratio signifies how many items or entities must pass over the upgrade before the next direction is used. At least 2 splitting upgrades are needed to be useful, otherwise items will always travel in the direction of the single splitting upgrade. The splitting upgrade will move full stacks at a time, and will not split a single stack into multiple directions. Shift right clicking with an empty hand will remove the upgrade.
