SpaceToad is the original mod author of BuildCraft, and one of the oldest mod authors, starting Minecraft modding in April of 2011. He decided to retire from BuildCraft development sometime around early 2012, leaving it to CovertJaguar, SirSengir, cpw and others, but he decided to return to the old mod on January 4th, 2014. As of late September 2014, SpaceToad has become inactive, due to a heavier participation in his job.
