The Soil is an item added by Calculator. It is mostly obtained from processing Dirt in an Extraction or Precision Chamber.

Right clicking will throw it like a Snowball, inflicting Blindness for 5 seconds if it hits an entity. Sneaking and right clicking Dirt or Grass with it will also consume the Soil, turning the targeted block into Farmland.
