The Scraper is a tool added by Advanced Genetics. It allows the player to scrape Skin Scales off of entities. These Skin Scales are required to create Genes that give the player various abilities.
To scrape Skin Scales, the player must right-click on an entity with the Scraper in hand. The Skin Scales will drop to the ground for collection. When the player scrapes Skin Scales off of entities, that entity will take 1 point of damage (half a heart).
Skin Scales do not stack, so inventory management such as creating extra inventory space is recommended. The Scraper also has a low durability.
