The Sapphire Shovel is a tool added by Project Red. It is used to mine dirt, sand, gravel and snow like the vanilla shovels.
It has the speed of a diamond shovel, but only the durability of two iron shovel, which corresponds to 513 blocks. Furthermore, the ruby shovel can be enchanted with all the vanilla spells on the enchantment table and the anvil.
The Sapphire Shovel causes 4 damage to mobs and other players.
