The Sandstone Kinesis Pipe is a type of Kinesis Pipe added by Buildcraft with a maximum energy transmission of 320 RF/t. The special feature compared to other kinesis pipes is, that the Sandstone Kinesis Pipe connects only to other Kinesis Pipes, not to energy producer and consumer. If the maximum energy input is reached, any more energy will make the energy "wire" inside the pipe to turn red indicating a bottleneck which will only allow the amount of energy the pipe can handle.

In BuildCraft 6.1.1 and below the Sandstone Kinesis Pipe has the same function as energy transport pipe, but was used to transport Minecraft Joules (MJ), which has been replaced in BuildCraft 6.1.2 by Redstone Flux. Below this version it has a maximum transmission of 32 MJ and the same recipe as now.
