The Ruby Chestplate is an armor added by Project Red. It has the same armor rating of 8 points as the Diamond Chestplate and can be enchanted with all the enchantments on the enchantment table and the anvil.
If the mod MineChem is installed, then you can decompose the Ruby Chestplate with the Chemical Decomposer into 8 Aluminium Oxide and 8 Chromium (Cr).
