Roads are blocks added by MineFactory Reloaded that allow for faster traveling, like on Ice.
Placing Roads in a straight line will yield maximum efficiency; sprint-jumping on Roads is faster than on Ice, and will transport the player medium distances very fast. The downside to using Roads over longer distances is the food usage when sprint-jumping.
