Ritual of Gaia

The Ritual of Gaia, available in the Botania mod is a ritual that needs to be performed in order to summon the Guardian of Gaia, a strong boss who can be much harder than the Wither to defeat.

Also, it's the only way to get Gaia Spirit.

Note that the Mossy Stones and the Stone Slab are not necessary

To perform this ritual, you’ll need :

• 1 Beacon
• 4 Gaia Pylons
• 1 Terrasteel Ingot
• 9 Blocks of Iron (81 Iron Ingots)

Please note that the beacon doesn't have to be activated to perform the sacrifice and you don’t have to build a « Pyramid » below it; the pylons must be one level above the beacon; the effect of a beacon is interrupted during fighting with the Guardian of Gaia.
Although not shown in the image, the 9 iron blocks need to be placed in a 3x3 square directly below (and horizontally centered on) the beacon.

Once you’ve build this, you just need to sacrifice a Terrasteel Ingot by put it in the Beacon by sneak-right click it to summon the Guardian of Gaia.

You can't fly or use your jetpack when the ritual is activated, note that draconic chestplate on lock flight will work (excepting creative players)

The Ritual of Gaia II

If you can defeat easily the first Guardian, try to use Gaia Spirit Ingot instead of Terrasteel Ingot, the guardian will be stronger, his strength, resistance, and speed will be increased, but you can get more Gaia Spirits and some rare artifacts to reward you for your heroic feat
