The Research Table is a multiblock structure added by Thaumcraft 4. It is used to create research notes for topics discovered in the Thaumonomicon.

The Research Table is created by placing two Tables next to each other and right-clicking one of them with a Scribing Tools. This will remove the Scribing Tools from the player's hand and store it on the Research Table.
