The Rending Strike is a Spell added by Roots. It is created with the base ingredient, an Allium, Soul Sand and a Brown Mushroom. When cast upon mobs, damage towards them will increase by 3 + 2 * the potency of the Spell.
Alliums contain a modicum of destructive energy. Using the above recipe, you can create a spell that will shatter targets' defenses, multiplying the next damage they receive significantly.
