Redstone Interface

ModEnhanced Portals 3
TypeSolid block
Tooltip textPortal Frame Part

The Redstone Interface is a component in the construction of portals within Enhanced Portals 3. This portal frame block allows for interacting with the portal through redstone signals and pulses. This block cannot be accessed without a Wrench, and cannot seen without Glasses.

An infinite number of Redstone Interfaces can be put on a single portal structure, allowing for maximum redstone customization.

Input mode will allow redstone signals to be applied to the block in order to change its state or functionality. This mode has the following options:

  • Create portal on signal: Create the portal while it has a signal, and remove it when it is lost.
  • Remove portal on signal: Remove the portal while it does not have a signal, and remove it when it is given.
  • Create portal on pulse: Create the portal indefinitely when it is given a pulse.
  • Remove portal on pulse: Remove the portal indefinitely when it is given a pulse.
  • Dial specific identifier: Dials the identifier in the Dialling Device on the portal, based on the signal's strength. The signal's strength corresponds to the identifiers' order in the list.
  • Dial specific identifier (2): Identical to the above option, however the network will be terminated when the signal is lost.
  • Dial random identifier: Dials a random identifier in the Dialling Device on the portal.
  • Dial random identifier (2): Identical to the above option, however the network will be terminated when the signal is lost.

Output mode will allow redstone signals to be output from the block based on its state or changed functionality. This mode has the following options:

  • Portal Created: Output a pulse when the portal is created.
  • Portal Removed: Output a pulse when the portal is removed.
  • Portal Active: Output a signal while the portal is active.
  • Portal Inactive: Output a signal while the portal is inactive.
  • Entity Touches Portal: Output a pulse when an entity enters/exits the portal.
  • Player Touches Portal: Output a pulse when a player enters/exits the portal.
  • Animal Touches Portal: Output a pulse when an animal enters/exits the portal.
  • Monster Touches Portal: Output a pulse when a monster enters/exits the portal.
