The Redstone Furnace is a machine added by Thermal Expansion 4. It functions identically to a vanilla furnace, but consumes Redstone Flux instead of burning fuel such as coal. It smelts items such as foods or dusts faster than a regular furnace. Each face can be configured to automatically input and output items to tubes or other TE4 machines.

The left slot is for the item being smelted, and the right slot is the product. The flames under the input are lit when the machine is smelting or cooking an item.
