The Quartz Crystal is a block from the XyCraft mod. This block is found naturally anywhere below Y-level 64, or sea level. They will destroy any item that falls on top of them. They will also damage any creature (including players) that steps on them, like a cactus. Quartz Crystals grow in three stages, yielding more crystals on destruction for each growth stage. It is used in the creation of the Liquid Detector.
