The Pulsating Chipset is a component addey by BuildCraft. While not usable itself, it is a fundamental component of Autarchic Gates, and thus many vital BuildCraft automation techniques (see Usage).

BuildCraft 6.1.2 and above[]
Pulsating Chipsets can be combined in the Integration Table with any AND and OR Gate to upgrade that Gate into its Autarchic version. A Pulsating Chipset and an Iron AND Gate, thus, will become an Autarchic Iron AND Gate. This process always consumes 25,000 RF.
BuildCraft 6.1.1 and below[]
Pulsating Chipsets can be combined with a Redstone Chipset and any normal Gate to upgrade that Gate into its Autarchic version. A Redstone Chipset, a Pulsating Chipset, and an Iron AND Gate, thus, will become an Autarchic Iron AND Gate. This process consumes significant amounts of energy.
