The Protected Land Tester is a single-use item similar to a Torch used to determine whether or not a block is within the protection range of a Meteor Shield.
When a Protected Land Tester is placed, it will immediately turn dark if it is not within the protection range of a Meteor Shield. If it is in range of a Shield, it will stay burning. The Protected Land Tester does not drop when it is broken; in order to check multiple areas, multiple Testers must be crafted.
