Pocket sand is an item included with the Weather2 Mod.
It's a reference to a scene in the Animated TV show, King Of The Hill.

Although this item is referencing an attack, it does no in-game damage and is more of a distraction.
It can be used to lag someone's game under the right conditions if you spam it.
It's more-or-less useful as just a recreational or prank item. However, you can use it to measure the wind direction if you do not have a Wind Vane.
