Patches One of the most beneficial things about a practitioner's pouch is the ability to extend its functionality through patches. To apply a patch to the practitioner's pouch, place the pouch down on a Runic Anvil. Then, place the patch on top of the pouch. Finally, activate the anvil with a Sorcerous Sewing Set to stitch the patch on to the pouch. Given the relatively small size of the pouch, there's only about enough space for three different kinds of patches (excluding the speed patch, that one can always be applied in combination with any others). Rumor has it that there exist powerful variants of this pouch that have every single patch applied. Some very smart wizard must have figured out how to do it long ago. |
Patches are a group of items added by Mana and Artifice. Patches are used to upgrade a Practitioner's Pouch. A patch is applied by placing a pouch on a Runic Anvil, placing the patch on top, and then right-clicking with a Sorcerous Sewing Set. Only 3 different kinds of patches can be applied to a pouch excluding the Speed patch and multiple of the same type of patch such as Depth and Depth II. Some patches have multiple tiers, you can apply a higher tier patch without first applying a lower tier first, this will also automatically apply the lower tier patches. There is a special pouch that has all patches applied called Mithion's Magnificent M...Bag.

Depth When sewn onto a Practitioner's Pouch, a Depth patch increases the stack limit of items within the Pouch to four times their normal value. Accomplished magicians can create improved Depth Patches that can be sewn on top of the basic Depth Patch. Stitching an improved patch onto a Pouch that already has a Depth Patch increases the stack limits of the items within by four time again (sixteen times it's normal limit in totel). |
Depth[]
Depth increases the maximum stack size of items in the inventory by 4 times the normal amount and 32 times(Despite the fact the Codex says 16) for Depth II, this does not effect items that do not stack. This also increases the stack size of any additional inventories by other patches.

Conveyance When sewn onto a Practitioner's Pouch, a Conveyance Patch provides a single slot that can only hold a Rune of Marking. Normally, a ritual bound to a Practitioner's Pouch needs all of the necessary items within itself. A Conveyance Patch allows a ritual to search for missing items within the inventory the provided Rune of Marking points to, if it is loaded. If necessary items are contained both in the Pouch and the marked inventory items in the marked inventory will be consumed first. If the Pouch has both a Conveyance Patch and a Rift Patch, items in the Rift will be consumed before items in the marked inventory. |
Conveyance[]
Conveyance allows the pouch to take items from a container that is marked with a Rune: Marking. You must first mark the rune on the container by shift right-clicking, then put the rune in the rune slot of the Conveyance patch, which you open by pressing the + symbol. The patch will try to take items from the container first before taking them from the pouch. If the Conveyance patch is used with the Rift patch the pouch will first try to take items from the rift, then the marked container, and then the pouch.

Collection Normally, items must be inserted into a Practitioner's Pouch manually. When sewn on, a Collection Patch causes any items picked up to automatically go to the Pouch's inventory instead. Items will only enter the Pouch if the item already exists in the pouch and is not at its stack limit. |
Collection[]
Collection makes it so that items that are picked up are sent to the pouch first instead of the inventory. Items will only be sent to the pouch if an item is already in the pouch and the stack isn't full.

Void When sewn onto a Practitioner's Pouch along with a Collection Patch, a Void Patch provides an additional sixteen slot filter, it will be destroyed if all stacks of that in the Pouch are full instead of being placed into the player's inventory. |

Void acts as a auto delete filter that must be used with the Conveyance patch. When an item is picked up through the Conveyance patch, if all the stacks are full then instead of going to the Inventory it is deleted if that item is in a filter slot. There are 16 possible filter slots that can be accessed by clicking on the + symbol over the Void patch.
