Outback is a biome added by Biomes O' Plenty. The biome is a desert with few and small Acacia trees, sparse vegetation, and small shallow ponds. The soil consists a mixture of normal Dirt, Red Sand and Hardened Sand, and thus difficulty usable for agriculture. The biomes is very weak hilly, Water blocks have the normal blue colour, and the precipitation falls as rain. The abundant vegetation is listed in the tables below.

If Forestry is installed, then Modest Hive can be found in the biome.
