NuclearCraft is a tech mod created by tomdodd4598. It focuses on using nuclear power to provide energy. It supports the Forge Energy, IC2 EU and GregTech Community Edition EU power systems. It is currently developed for Minecraft version 1.12.2.
NuclearCraft offers three main methods of power generation: the Solid-Fuel Fission Reactor which directly harnesses the power of splitting atoms, the Tokomak Fusion Reactor which generates power by fusing atomic nuclei together under immense heat, and the new Molten Salt Fission Reactor, in which the heat of nuclear fission is passed to coolant to be transferred to water to produce steam in a Heat Exchanger. NuclearCraft takes a semi-realistic view of reactor design and optimization so the mod is well-suited to players who enjoy complex design challenges.
In addition to power generation, NuclearCraft adds a number of single-block, upgradeable machines, similar to those added by other tech mods. NuclearCraft is intended for use in modpacks and does not provide any power cables/conduits.
