The Nova Catalyst is an explosive device from Equivalent Exchange 2. Its explosion is much larger than that of TNT, and will break most blocks of most hardness levels. It is detonated the same way as TNT.
The explosions will not hurt any entities, including players, and will not destroy any of the blocks it destroys. Instead, all of the blocks that are broken will be shoved into the loot ball that some of the alchemical tools produce.
It can be used to create the Nova Cataclysm and the Destruction Catalyst.
