The Nether Star Generator is a block added by Extra Utilities. It will create Redstone Flux (RF) out of Nether Stars, with a single star lasting 120 seconds. This generator produces power faster than most power systems can transfer it. It will also create a 'radiation field' that damages anything in a ten block radius. As such, designs have been created to use this generator to kill Withers, to generate more stars for the generator. As with all other Extra Utilities generators, this generator shows the burn time, and RF/t production in the GUI, and also keeps it's charge level when broken and replaced. It will inflict Wither III indefinitely until leaving the field, which then reduces it to ten seconds. Having stronger generators and more of them will increase the radiation field. Even when equipping full Quantum Armor, it will remove millions of EU from your helmet and less from the other armor pieces. This will happen in seconds. It will also inflict Mining Fatigue indefinitely until exiting the radiation field, which then cancels the effect. It is highly recommended to stay away from the radiation fields.
