Mulch is an item introduced by Forestry. Mulch is very common in several important crafting recipes in Forestry, such as the crafting of Humus and Bog Earth. It can also be inserted in a Fermenter to create Biomass.

Mulch may be produced in the Moistener by cycling Wheat. The inputted wheat will continually cycle to follow the process of Wheat → Mouldy Wheat → Decaying Wheat → Mulch.
Mulch also has a chance of being created as a byproduct of squeezing fruits and nuts in a Squeezer (Forestry). The table below lists the various Squeezer recipes for producing Mulch.
