The Mother Spider is a hostile monster added by Primitive Mobs. She spawns in dark places in the Overworld, followed by 3-6 Baby Spiders, with one riding on her back.
She acts the same as a normal Spider, attacking players on sight when in the dark or when she or one of her babies is attacked. All of her accompanying Baby Spiders will follow her and attack whatever she attacks.
When killed it drops 0-2 String and has a chance of dropping a Spider Eye.
