I've found that adding a simple fuse and additional explosives to a rocket makes it a powerful mining tool. Smaller explosions stop blocks from being destroyed, though at the cost of less damage to enemies.

Upgrade slot
{{{slot}}}
The Mining Charge is an item from Flaxbeard's Steam Power. It serves as ammunition for the Rocket Launcher. It is an upgraded version of the normal Rocket built for mining. It has a larger explosion radius and drops all blocks, but does not deal very much damage to entities, nor cause very much knockback. It also will not damage existing item entities.
