Metallurgy 3 Metal Information
Information on all of the metals added by Metallurgy 3 can be found here.
There are six types of metals added by Metallurgy 3: Base, Precious, Nether, Fantasy, Ender, and Utility.
Base metals are Copper, Tin, Bronze, Hepatizon, Angmallen, Damascus Steel, Manganese, and Steel. Copper, Tin, and Hepatizon can be found as ores, while the rest are alloys. Information on alloys can be found later in this article. Base metals are found in the Overworld, and have stats ranging between that of Stone and Diamond. If Base Metals are installed, new Furnaces and Crushers will also be available.
Base metals can be used to create Buckets, Shears, and Rails from vanilla Minecraft, and they will output their normal output. They can also be used to create Pistons.
Precious metals are Zinc, Brass, Silver, Electrum, and Platinum. Zinc, Silver, and Platinum can be found as ores, while the rest are alloys. Information on alloys can be found later in this article. Precious metals are found in the Overworld, and have high enchantability, while they have low durability. They can be mixed with other metals to create more powerful metals. Precious metals can be turned into Villager currency.
Precious metals can be used to create Booster Tracks.
Fantasy metals are Prometheum, Deep Iron, Infuscolium, Black Steel, Oureclase, Aredrite, Astral Silver, Carmot, Mithril, Rubracium, Quicksilver, Haderoth, Orichalcum, Celenegil, Adamantine, Atlarus, and Tartarite. Most of these metals can be found as ores, but a couple of them are alloys. Information on alloys can be found later in this article. Fantasy metals are found in the Overworld, and have stats ranging between that of Stone and high-end Nether. They also have high enchantability, but are much rarer than others. Old metals can be transmuted into experience orbs with the Abstracter.
Nether metals are Ignatius, Shadow Iron, Lemurite, Shadow Steel, Midasium, Vyroxeres, Ceruclase, Adluorite, Inolasse, Kalendrite, Amordrine, Vulcanite, and Sanguinite. These are found in the Nether dimension. Their stats range from mid-tier Overworld metals to more powerful than Diamond.
Ender metals are Eximite, Meutoite, and Desichalkos. These metals are very high-tier, and can only be found in the End. Tools made from these weapons are nearly as powerful as Diamond. Meutoite is a catalyst found in the End, and can be mixed with Eximite to create Desichalkos, a very powerful alloy.
Alloys are combinations of metals that can be created to make even more powerful tools. They are created by crafting dusts with other dusts shapelessly in a crafting table.
