The Metal Post is a decorative block from the Railcraft mod. This block acts as a fence, preventing entities from jumping over it. This fence is unique in that tracks can be placed on top of it, and it can be painted using dyes or an IndustrialCraft 2 Painter. The downside to painting Metal Posts is that if they get broken, they lose their pigment, dropping a raw Metal Post.
