The Mercurial Eye is a tool from Equivalent Exchange 2. It is used to turn EMC from a charged Klein Star into building blocks. The block that the player would like to create is defined in the GUI.
There are four modes, Creative, Extension, Pillar Extension, and Transmutation. Creative will place a single block, and will ignore player hitboxes. Extension mode will get the shape from the existing structure, and place another layer on it. Pillar Extension will create a pillar that goes in the opposite direction of the player. Transmutation mode will transmute the targeted block. If the EMC of the targeted block is lower than the building block, the EMC will be absorbed into the Klein Star. The area that these modes affects is dependent on the charge level.
