The Melting Crucible is a machine added by Foundry 2. It melts solid metals into their liquid counterparts.

Usage[]
The Melting Crucible needs to be placed above a heater block like a Burner Heater or an Induction Heater to operate and can reach a temperature of 2000 K. The machine loses heat depending on its current temperature (the higher the temperature the more heat it loses); this means more energy is required to sustain higher temperatures. Once the heat level reaches the melting point of the metal the melting process starts. The higher the heat level is above the melting point, the faster it will melt. Fluids can be extracted with containers or fluid pipes.
