The Manual Selector is a machine cover added by GregTech 6 that allows a parameter of supported machines to be configured.
Its in-world user interface consists of + and - buttons to increase and decrease the parameter value, four toggle buttons to set the parameter value in binary, and a hexadecimal readout that displays the parameter value as a single digit from 0-F.
The parameter controlled by the Selector varies according to machine:
- Battery Box and Crystal Charger: Controls the number of amps emitted by the machine.
- Red Alloy Wire: Emits a constant redstone signal into the wire with the specified strength.
- HDD Switch: Selects which of the sixteen files on the installed USB HDD will be used by the adjacent machine.
- Electric Engine: Controls how much KU is output by the Engine by altering its piston speed.
