Lubricant is a GregTech 5 fluid, used in the Cutting Machine and as an ingredient for Drilling Fluid. It may be crafted from various ingredients in the Distillery or Brewery.
Recipe[]
Creosote Oil or Cracked Heavy Fuel in a Distillery (or Distillation Tower in GregTech 5 Unofficial) yields Lubricant.
Creosote Oil or Oil along with Redstone, Soapstone, or Talc in a Brewery also yields Lubricant at a much greater pace and with a lower energy cost.
Usage[]
Lubricant may be used in the Cutting Machine to halve the energy usage and double the processing speed of most recipes, when compared to Water. When cutting Logs into Planks, Lubricant also increases the yield to 6 Planks and 1 Wood Pulp, rather than 4 Planks and 2 Wood Pulp.
In GregTech 5 Unofficial, Lubricant is also used to craft Drilling Fluid for the Advanced Miner II.
