Light Level Overlay Reloaded is a client-side mod created by oldjunyl. It is a continuation of Light Level Overlay by 4poc for Minecraft 1.7.10 and up. It allows the player to view the light level of blocks in the world. Light levels are displayed in the world as integers rendered on top of blocks.
The overlay can be toggled by using the keybind, defaulted to F4. Using the shift key when toggling it will display the sky light level values, instead of the effective light level values. The overlay mode can be switched by using the keybind with the control key. It has the following mods:
- Minimal Mode: Only display overlays for blocks which hostile creatures can spawn on, in red.
- Standard Mode: Show all light levels, using green for safe blocks and red for blocks which hostile creatures can spawn on.
- Advanced Mode: Show all light levels, using green for safe blocks, red for blocks which hostile creatures can spawn on at any time, and orange/yellow for blocks which hostile creatures can spawn on only at night.
