Now I can leap to unprecedented heights with the leap actuator. This steam-piston-powered device allows me to launch myself with much more force than usual. Crouching and jumping will launch me in the direction I'm looking.

The Leap Actuator is a Steam Exosuit Footpiece upgrade from Flaxbeard's Steam Power. When installed with the Engineering Table, it will allow the user to leap great distances. There are two possible jumps: normal and crouch-jump. A normal jump will use 1 SU per use, and will simply launch the player higher. If the player crouches before jumping, they will be launched much higher and farther, at the cost of 3 SU. The normal jump will bring the player about 0.275x higher, and the leap will bring them about 2-3x higher and 2x farther in all other directions.
