The Laser is a machine added by BuildCraft, that is required to power the Assembly Table, the Advanced Crafting Table and the Integration Table (see Usage).

Usage[]
Nine Lasers provide an Integration Table with energy from 2 Stirling Engines.
The Laser can be placed on walls and ceilings, or simply over one another. When supplied with power (RF), the Laser will automatically begin working on a nearby energy consumer (for example an Assembly Table) that is no more than four blocks from the Laser. The color of the Laser indicates the efficiency it is running. Progressive efficiency colors in ascending order are red → yellow → green → blue at maximum efficiency of 39.90 RF/t. If there are multiple tables nearby, the Laser will alternate amongst them.
