The Junction Rail is a rail track that works in conjunction with the Advanced Control System cart attachment. When a minecart equipped with an Advanced Control System crosses the rail, the rider of the cart can control which direction the cart moves in by holding one of the direction keys (default: W, A, or D). If the minecart does not have a ACS attachment, it will simply continue along the rail in the direction it was traveling.
