The Item Buffer is a block added by Ender IO. It is used as a buffer for items to be relocated. It has a 3x3 inventory space, for a total of 9 stacks of items.

Right-clicking on the Item Buffer will open its GUI. The Item Buffer GUI allows the player to assign each face to push, pull, push and pull, or be inactive. The Item Buffer also has four states it can be configured into to activate in response to Redstone:

  • Active with signal
  • Active without signal
  • Always active
  • Never active
