The Ink Vial is a tool added by Mystcraft. It is used in a Writing Desk to provide ink so that Pages may be copied and used in the creation of Descriptive Books. The Ink Vial also supplies ink to the Ink Mixer After the Ink Vial is used in the desk, the bottle is returned so that it may be used again for Potions or more Ink Vials.
Ink Vials store enough ink to create about 25 Symbol Pages or 1 Link Panel.
