The Induction Smelter is a block added by Thermal Expansion 4. It is a machine that uses a catalyst (such as Sand) to enhance the smelting process. Each recipe has a chance of producing Slag or Rich Slag as a secondary output, each used as a catalyst. It can only be used for the processing of non-food items.
The Induction Smelter has two inputs, one for the catalyst and one for the resource to be processed.
